Development of highly functional anti-cancer adjuvant through natural product fermentation:

secures scientific and objective data by verification of the improving effects of inhibiting cancer and anti-inflammatory function through manufacturing fermented medicinal composition (Sarijang) which is produced by the fermentation of 9 times-baked Insan bamboo salt and domestic black beans. Based on this, high functioning anti-cancer adjuvant is commercialized to increase sales through domestic sales and exports. Using the products that are verified for their functional effects and developed through various methods, the domestic bamboo salt market and natural oriental medicine industry for anti-cancer treatment is developed and the competitiveness of Korean oriental natural materials is heightened in overseas pharmaceutical markets.

Development and commercialization of functional new materials for the treatment of atopic immune hypersensitivity dermatitis by using medicinal composition derived from natural products:

develops functional material to treat inflammatory, atopic skin and immune-sensitive skin diseases by using natural materials such as egg white, chalcanthite and bamboo salt, standardizes functional food materials by establishing the manufacturing procedure of bamboo salt and Nan Dam Ban and extracting index ingredient, and then to commercialize this, identifies verification and mechanism of the effect to immunosuppression and skin diseases thorough in-vitro cell test. In addition, conducts in-vitro animal test to gather and submit enough data related to the development of functional food material related to immunosuppression and skin diseases, and certify its functionality at pre-clinical stage. Based on this, a framework for high value-added industrialization of functional food material can be established.
